Sharing personal data with third parties
Hobat does not sell your information to third parties and will only provide it if this is necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. We conclude a processing agreement with companies that process your data on our behalf to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. Hobat remains responsible for these processing operations.
Cookies, or similar techniques, that we use
On your first visit to our website, we have already informed you about these cookies and we have asked for your permission to place them. You can opt out of cookies by setting your internet browser so that it no longer stores cookies. In addition, you can also delete all information previously saved via the settings of your browser.
View, modify or delete data
You have the right to view, correct or delete your personal data. You also have the right to withdraw your consent to the data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by Hobat and you have the right to data portability. This means that you can submit a request to us to send the personal data we hold about you in a computer file to you or another organization mentioned by you.
You can send a request for inspection, correction, deletion, data transfer of your personal data or request for withdrawal of your consent or objection to the processing of your personal data to firstname.lastname@example.org.
To ensure that the request for inspection has been made by you, we ask you to enclose a copy of your proof of identity with the request. Make your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and citizen service number (BSN/Social Security Number) black in this copy. This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as quickly as possible, but in any case within four weeks. How we secure personal data
Hobat takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized modification.
If you feel that your data is not properly secured or there are indications of misuse, please contact your account manager or via email@example.com.
We will notify you as soon as there is a data breach. We try to do this within 48 hours after we have discovered the data breach or as soon as possible after we have been informed by our sub-processors. You will receive notifications about this from your account manager or via firstname.lastname@example.org. We will provide you with all information that you reasonably need to – if necessary – make a correct and complete report to the Dutch Data Protection Authority and possibly the data subject(s) in the context of the data breach notification obligation or We will send the report from our sub-processor to you. We will also keep you informed of the measures taken by us or our sub-processor as a result of the data breach. You are always responsible for reporting data breaches to the Dutch Data Protection Authority and any data subject(s). Keeping and maintaining a register of data breaches is always your own responsibility.
